I would believe, Open AI was going after a voice "type" and if it is this voice actress's actual voice, and she wasn't just trying to do an impression... I'm not sure ScarJo has a case.

This is extremely useful information, is there anything we can do to combat this? We are going through this issue right now, Case Number 1:24-CV-04245, even though we are a legit business, we source our items from authorized retailers, and we even received a letter from toho(the plaintiff) stating we are allow to sell, we were also dismiss from the lawsuit, but my website is still down(for a week already) and shopify (the platform i used) its still not reinstating my account. This is hitting my business financially in a big way, even thought we were cleared of any wrong doing, is there anything we can do against this?

The REAL failure here was the court appointed trustee who didn’t comply with creditors and shareholders wishes. Chapter 11 turned into chapter 7 because he wanted an easy liquidation instead of the restructuring that would have required him to learn how these Warrants worked.

Fabulous video. Great to see Professor Goldman. I've been trying to get traction on this issue for some time and have also contacted Professor Goldman a number of times. I do wonder, when leverage become extortion? I chat with these defendants everyday. First of all, the dilligence is so poor, they assume accounts are foreign. Once the case gets going you see dismissals for accounts with US in the account name. Assuming theyve just realised they're not foreign. Even US citizens get caught up and end up paying because they do not realise they need to speak up and say they're wrongly named in the lawsuit. Plaintiff's claim defendants are unknown but then claim they're foreign. A lot of these accounts, you can easily find the sellers name and address and contact details, in order to attempt to establish who the defendant is.
